Can you inflate without airhose

Can you please show me where you are plugging your spa cable? Is it an outdoor socket?

As stated on the service manual, the bias current is obtained by measuring (at each chanell) the voltage across each double emitter resistor (2×0.22ohm). Using Ohm's law, dividing the measured voltage by 0.44 we obtain the bias current. The manufacturer specified value is 50mA±20%, so the voltage across 0.44ohm will be 22mV±20%. The Audiolab 8000A is prone to bias drift with time to higher values. And so the amplifier overheats even playing at low volume sound.

Excellent video. Good explanations. What surface you used over the table to protect the amplifier from scratches? Did you already adjusted the bias current? What bias value you had before adjustment?

But a clean/dirty sump pump then takes it right down too a few mm’s and empty within 8 minutes We bought ours from Screwfix And always use a socket straight too the mains and an RCD cut of switch on it

I wrap a strip of polyester duvet stuffing around mine. That traps all the particulate stuff. Then i just rinse the filter and pop it in bleach solution for a couple of hours.

Nice thorough video. I've been servicing the earlier 'egg' models since owning a lay z spa for a few years. I like that they're completely modular, but they do need attention periodically. One potential leak source you overlooked in this video is the non-return valv in the air inlet of the tub itself. The mushroom in the pump is supposed to be backup to this. By the way, I've had success replacing a perished mushroom valve with a child's party balloon, a much cheaper option than replacing it.

Followed your guide, after 24 hours my PH, Alk and Chlorine is super high! I cant seem to get it down, any help :( Spa is sat at 40 degrees also.

Thanks for this, I pulled my pump apart this afternoon to investigate the issue, found it appears to be either the pump from the bottom or the hose up to the heater unit thats leaking on mine, was curious how to disassemble, appears your one has the ability to remove the clamps compared to mine, looks like I'll be investing in some 17-30mm clamps and pulling the unit apart and try repairing the seals.
